Boston Flower & Garden Show

BostonFlowerandGardenShow
Pictures now up on the Ideas in Bloom Facebook page!

The snow is melting, crocuses are blooming in Boston, and the recent sunshine has everyone thinking the same thing: SPRING! Not to jinx it (this is New England after all) but we may have seen the last of winter’s chill. Should the slow start of the spring thaw not be enough to shake those nagging winter doldrums, check out the Boston Flower & Garden Show. It features over 30 garden displays, products & furnishings, and lectures & demonstrations. It’s great place to gather ideas for your own yard.

This year the show will spotlight a new feature: The Garden of Cakes. Some of the region’s top confectionary professionals will be showcasing their appreciation of all things floral. Our favorite “Cake Lady,” Denise Wright Fox of Tastefully Wright, will have a cake on display.

We can’t wait to see what Denise has in store and to take in all the horticultural displays. The months of March and April always have us going stir-crazy since we can’t get to work on everyone’s yards and patios just yet, so this show is a welcome reprieve! If you do get a chance to take it in and have any questions about how to incorporate the ideas you see into your own yard, give us a call. Planting season is just around the corner!!!
