Erin & Kevin’s Monadnock Area Wedding

NH wedding flowers 1

Erin and Kevin created a thoughtful and love-filled wedding we were so happy to be a part of!  Along with a bevy of talented family and friends, this couple crafted details for their special day that emanated their personality and exemplified Erin’s attention to detail.  From the small town church to the completely transformed reception hall, this rural New Hampshire wedding was a stunner from start to finish!  Feast your eyes on these equally beautiful photos from the very talented Shannon Cronin Photography

Sometimes I love a bouquet so much that I do what’s known as my “happy dance” when I hold the completed product.  Yeah, that happened!  Blush peonies, lavender roses, white stock, freesia, dusty miller, white veronica, fresh lavender and hosta leaves from the garden.

Preview from Stephanie Wales Creative Imagery

While I’ve been neglectful in my blogging (I know, I know…), Stephanie of Stephanie Wales Creative Imagery is making me look even more behind by posting about Kristin & Phil’s November 8th (!) wedding at Church Landing already.  You put me to shame, Stephanie.

Having always admired her clear and dramatic signature style of documenting wedding, I was so excited to learn we’d finally be working together on an event.  Check out these stunning images (and touching personal comments) from Stephanie…

Sarah & Casey’s NH Seacoast Wedding

I was so very excited when Sarah contacted us about her wedding plans.  Way back when we were a couple of school kids with a shared passion for horseback riding.  Though we have since gone in different directions, the magic that is Facebook brought us back together.  Sarah had been following our work and made the connection shortly after announcing her engagement to long-time love, Casey.

The couple was planning their NH Seacoast wedding from their new home in Colorado.  Fortunately we were able to catch up with Sarah and her Mom, Denise, on one of her trips back east to talk about the big day.  Blush pinks and purples would accent the beautiful surroundings of St. Andrews-by-the-Sea in Rye.

Bridesmaids bouquets were a romantic combination of purple dahlias, roses, stock, fresh lavender, and green mini hydrangea.

Loved the classic car – what an entrance!

Sarah’s bridal bouquet was a mix of blush pink dahlias, peonies and roses.  Dahlias were an integral part of these designs.  The couple’s dog is named after the flower!

The garden, bursting with color

Garden Gnome | Ideas in Bloom

Just like the sky tomorrow evening, our gardens are full of color bursts that certainly bring us joy and wonder.  I had a few extra minutes yesterday and took a quick tour through with my phone, snapping inspiration along the way.  One of my favorite parts?  This little guy peeking from behind clover.  Looks like he’s up to something, doesn’t it?

Won’t you join me for a stroll?

We are often asked if we grow our own flowers.  Yes and no.  Cultivating AND designing is more than we can accommodate at the moment.  Our focus remains designing incredible events and weddings with the best product available.  When the opportunity arises for us to pull elements from the garden to incorporate into those designs, of course we take it.  Our poor Hostas always look a little sorrier for it!  We would love to have a larger cutting garden and it’s always on our wish list as we continue to grow and expand.  For now we enjoy the gardens for their continuous beauty and raid them on occasion.

Speaking of enjoyment, I hope you all enjoy the holiday and long weekend to follow.  I know we will!
